Release Notes

  • Version 2.0
    • Web pages provide updated information about the project, data, release notes and other available resources for chickpea.
    • BLAST search option for kabuli and wild chickpea transcriptome sequences has been integrated.
    • Microsatellite (perfect, compound and polymorphic) and simple nucleotide polymorphism search utilities in different chickpea genotypes with various options have been added. Options have been provided to download the flanking sequences of the microsatellites and SNPs.
    • Gene Expression Atlas RNA-Seq data for flower development including three vegetative tissues and eight stages of flower development has been added.
    • In Search options, transcription factor families's information has been added. It has been linked with the Gene Expression Atlas data.
    • Comparative genomics tools for BLAST search, ortholog search and gene expression search of ortholog in other legumes and Arabidopsis.
    • Separate Contact tab is available for any query or suggestion.
    • In release notes, update information regarding database is/will be available from time to time.
  • Vesion 1.2
    • Kabuli chickpea (genotype ICCV2) transcriptome sequence is available for download.
  • Vesion 1.1
    • Wild chickpea (genotype PI489777) transcriptome sequence is available for download.
  • Vesion 1.0
    • Current release (release 1.0) of the database provides the transcriptome sequence of desi chickpea (genotype ICC4958).
    • The web pages provide information about the project, data and other resources of chickpea transcriptome data.
    • Options for sequence-based BLAST search and various annotation search facilities, such as putative function, PFAM domain, transcript ID and GO search, are provided.
    • Expression data for transcripts can be accessed in two ways, the expression level (RPM values) for individual transcript can be retrieved using unique transcript ID and highly expressed transcripts can be retrieved for a specific tissue type.
    • Batch download (for multiple transcript IDs) utility for sequence and annotation data in a tab-delimited file has been provided.
    • Links to download the whole assembled sequence data as a single file are provided.
